Ascension Quartet in Concert - Sunday, May 20
 FBC Strafford will host the Ascension Quartet in concert on Sunday evening, May 20, at 6:00 p.m.Founded in the 1970s and based in Lebanon, Missouri, the Ascension travels thousands of miles around the country each year sharing the good news of Jesus Christ through Southern Gospel music. VBS 2012 Takes Off in June!
 Amazing Wonders Aviation VBS is taking off at FBC Strafford and we want ALL kids, ages 4 through 5th grade, to fly with us!VBS 2012 will begin with a Kickoff Party full of games, food, and fun on Saturday, June 16, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the church parking lot. Monday through Friday, June 18-22, we will meet for dinner, Bible study, music, recreation, and crafts from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m. each night.The week will conclude with Family Night/Commencement on Sunday evening, June 24, at 6:00 p.m.Transportation is available. FBC Strafford Declares 2012 the Year of the Bible!
 Christians need to become more familiar with the Bible as a guide for their daily living. We need to use God's Word as a guide to what we should do in our lives and our church. To do this, we must be in the Bible on a regular basis.
Beginning Jan. 1, 2012, FBC Strafford is studying through the entire Bible chronologically, using George Guthrie's "Reading God's Story" daily Bible and the accompanying "Reader's Guide to the Bible." These materials are available for purchase at LifeWay Christian Store.
It is not too late to participate! Come join us as we look for God's guidance in our personal and church lives through His Word! |
